I learned to accept that the study of law in San Beda is difficult and unreasonable, but only because we are being taught to work harder each day. I realized that I wasn’t being pushed to my limit, but San Beda was teaching me to reach my true potential. I saw that I wasn’t being intentionally humiliated, but I was being taught how to be humble in everything I do. And most importantly, I learned that when you are disheartened, and down-trodden, simply keep pushing forward as there is no other way but up. Thus, I rose above all my failures, and in time, all my disappointments and concomitant hard work finally paid off. My accomplishments, as they say, were judged by history.
-An excerpt from a letter addressed to San Beda Law students, written by Atty. Reinier Paul Yebra, Rank 1 of the 2009 Bar Examinations, and most importantly, a Bedan (via wereonlygoodatbriefencounters)
